Red-bearded Bee-eater by Mike (NO captive birds) in Thailand

Here are some of the new additions to the Burdr Flickr group for the week of October 8th, 2010.

Take a look at the first two photos of a Black Skimmer by Photojoe Campbell. In the one on the left, you can see how narrow the bird’s bill is when viewed from the front. Yet when the bill is viewed from the side in the the photo on the right, it looks quite different. Very nicely done Photojoe!

In the video further down, it almost looks like the Great Blue Heron is supervising Steve and Michael while they photograph the Oystercatchers!
