People with the Monroe Swift Watch placed a video camera on top of the chimney at the Frank Wagner Elementary School to record the Vaux’s Swifts descending down into it!
Now, I’ve watched the birds swirl into the chimney from the ground as part of a Swift Night Out, but seeing it from this new perspective is just awesome! On the day the video below was captured, over 15,ooo Vaux’s Swifts were counted. Wow!
