Jay Holcomb, executive director of the International Bird Rescue Research Center (IBRRC), describes what was done for a Mallard that was brought to the center for help.
Towards the end of the video, Jay jokes and says that Penny:
is the first bird that ever made a donation towards her own care!
I am constantly amazed at what organizations like the IBRRC do to save wildlife!
