We have readers from all over the world. People from different countries and cultures. People with different religions and beliefs. Yet all of this makes us unique and beautiful like the birds we all love to watch!

So whatever you celebrated today, I think we can all agree that the incredible egg can be viewed as a symbol of the start of a new life! Just as a young new bird emerges from its egg to begin its own journey through life.

    This nest had just been abandoned after only one chick hatched. And the mama goose had been so devoted.
