It’s that time of year! Spring is rapidly approaching and the hummingbirds are on their way!

You can follow the migration of Ruby-throated Hummingbirds up through North America on the migration maps at Hummingbirds.net! Just last week, Ruby-throated Hummingbirds were reported in Texas and Florida.

Curious about when these hummingbirds might be arriving in your area? Check out some of the maps from previous years to get an idea. You can find links to them all underneath the current migration map.

If you see any Ruby-throated Hunmingbirds near you, be sure to report your sightings to Hummingbirds.net.

That's an amazing picture! Did you take it? I'm looking for a feeder so I can take close shots of hummingbirds like this one. Are there any feeders you recommend? I found those Perky-Pet Top Fill feeders so far.
    Here's an example of one:

Let me know what you think. I like how easy they look to fill!

They're moving north in Illinois - someone spotted one mid way already - so I put my feeders out.

There's food here guys! Whenever you get here! I'm ready!
