Cedar Waxwing by Mudhen2

A statement made by a resident on a local station in north Texas, in my opinion really puts the whole relationship between birds and humans in perspective!

This news segment is about the stuff Cedar Waxwings leave behind on sidewalks and cars when they eat. The birds are currently migrating through the town of Frisco, Texas where this news story takes place.

Towards the end, resident Lydia Fomuso tells the camera:

I think the world belongs to them, too. So even though we think we own everything, I think they have the right to be around too. So I’m not going to say get rid of the birds so my car can be clean.

Well, I completely agree! Go Lydia!
