Here is another great video from BBC Worldwide that describes how the sophisticated sonar of a hunting owl works! Nature is amazing!

In the video, you will see exactly where the ears of this owl are located and how the feathers focus noises into them creating stereo sound. I really enjoyed the slow motion flight and how the owl adjusts itself right before the final approach. Just to let you know, the owl does catch the lemming at the very end.
