Molly The Barn Owl Protecting Max on Ustream

Today, nearly 17,000 viewers tuned into Molly The Barn Owl’s Ustream channel to get a glimpse of the very first owlet to hatch!

The excitement started late last night, when one of Molly’s owlets started making some noises!

Carlos, who runs the Molly The Barn Owl Ustream Channel, said:

It appears we have the first peeping sounds from an owlet inside the egg.

In the video below, you can hear the little owlet making noises!

It took many hours, but the new owlet finally broke free of its shell!

With a little tender loving care from Molly, this new Barn Owl is going to one day leave this nest box and start of family of its own!
