How To Wash A California Brown Pelican

Submitted by on February 10, 2010 – 10:26 pm2 Comments

Jay Holcomb, director of the IBRRC, explains how he washes a storm battered California Brown Pelican.

Right now the International Bird Rescue Research Center (IBRRC) has more than 350 Brown Pelicans at its two California centers. They feed about 1,000 pounds a fish a day to these pelicans. Unfortunately there are more birds that need to be rescued.

The IBRRC does incredible work and they could really use your help. Please consider donating money to the IBRRC!

He's all freshened up now! Such incredible work done by this organization. Sure wish I could volunteer there, but it's a long commute from Atlanta.
