Learn the strategies a hare uses to escape from a Golden Eagle. They may come in handy if you ever find yourself being hunted by one!

Basically, there are two strategies. You can either run or hide.

Strategy #1, Run!

When running, you will want to either suddenly stop or change direction right before the eagle reaches for you. Timing is everything! If there is a hill nearby, use this to your advantage by dodging uphill. Each of these techniques can possibly force the eagle to land in order to avoid injury.

Strategy #2, Hide!

In my opinion, this would be the more dangerous of the two strategies. Eagles have incredible eyesight. If you do decide to hide, remember not to stay in one place too long!

If you follow these simple strategies, you might not end up like the cameraman that was attacked by a Golden Eagle! :)
