Betsy Popp Bird Prints
Artist Besty Popp has donated three different signed bird sketches to raise money for the Raptor Education Group, Inc.
REGI is a non-profit organization located in Antigo, Washington that takes in over 600 birds every year. I personally enjoy reading their blog called Taking Flight. According to their website, they have three main focuses:
Education
- Wildlife education programs are provided for adult and childrens groups. Our feathered educators accompany us to all our programs.
Rehabilitation
- We provide medical treatment, food, housing, and professional care to native bird species.
Research
- Behavioral, nutritional, disease, and post-release studies done at REGI have contributed to the base knowledge for avian species throughout the world.
Artist Betsy Popp is also from Wisconsin. From her online biography:
Blessed with her mother’s artistic talents and clocking in many hours in the woods with her father over the years has molded Betsy’s career as a wildlife and landscape artist.
All three of her donated prints are available on an eBay auction until Sunday, January 10th for $100 each. They are signed and numbered by Betsy. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the sale of these prints benefits REGI.
If you happen to miss the eBay auction, don’t worry they have a few more! Just email Molly McKay from REGI at MollyM.REGI@gmail.com.
