Purple Gallinule from Big Bang Black Hole

I really enjoy learning about birding in different places through the first hand accounts of other burdrs. Jonathan camped out for eight days in the Everglades National Park. He takes us on a tour of some of the birds you may see while hiking there. The bird in the picture above is a Purple Gallinule. If you’re looking to see this bird in the United States, it can only be found in the southeast. Another bird he spotted was a White-crowned Pigeon. These birds are only found in southern Florida and the islands of the Caribbean.
